Help Covid-19 Affected People of Bangladesh
Hello Everyone.
This article isn't about profit or anything like that. I am from Bangladesh. Do you know the current situation in Bangladesh? Let me tell you.
Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated areas and the Covid-19 is spreading like Hurricane. More than that the situation worsens as hospitals in Bangladesh turn patients away, the number of dead will rise.
It is a scary time indeed. It is very sad to admit that our Hospitals are turning away from Corona patients. As of today, there are Coronavirus Cases: 172,134 & Deaths: 2,197 and this number will rise. I work with Biddyanondo Foundation which is a voluntary organization that is trying to help those who are not fortunate enough to get admitted into a hospital even. This foundation is trying to help as many individuals as possible but for that, we need a lot of donations.
Right now, the foundation is running a program called One Taka Meal. A very new and unique program began by Bidyanondo is 'Ek Takay Ahar', which refers to 'food for a single penny'. Under this program, hundreds of street dwelling children, beggars, elderly people, and physically and mentally challenged people hanging around streets or stations get their fundamental need of regular meals in exchange of more than one taka. Currently, 'ek takay ahar' is the flagship project of Bidyanondo. At present we are providing more than 1000 packets of meals in 8 districts of Bangladesh. The Bidyanondo Foundation's policy is to charge 1 taka to make sure that we are giving value for the people's pride. Paying the money allows them not to view themselves negatively as beggars. This project has been providing nutritional lifeline towards Bangladesh’s street children especially during this hard time.
We are concerned about the children lining in street and senior citizens who are unable to support themselves. Every 55$ will support 10 families. Without a doubt, that's very high to maintain each and every day. So I came before You. Whatever you donate will help another child, senior citizen, and so many others.
So I came in front of the Global BCH community and ask you for any kind of donations that may help to save one life. You can simply like this post and help or you can send any kind of donations in this
